KPN (Koninklijke KPN N.V.) is the leading telecommunications and IT service provider in the Netherlands. Its origins date back to the 19th century as a state-owned postal and telegraph service, eventually evolving into the national PTT (Posterijen, Telegrafie en Telefonie).
