Quechua is a French brand specializing in hiking and camping equipment. It was founded in 1997 in Domancy, France, by the sporting goods retailer Decathlon. The brand is named after the Quechua people of the Andes and their languages.

While the brand was designed and developed at the foot of Mont Blanc in France, the actual manufacturing of Quechua products is decentralized across various regions including China, Vietnam, India, and Bangladesh to maintain competitive pricing. Today, the brand remains a core component of the Decathlon Group, which manages the entire life cycle of its products from design to distribution.
