3M RelyX Temp NE Temporary Cement

3M RelyX Temp NE is a widely used temporary dental cement designed for the cementation of provisional restorations. Originally developed under the 3M ESPE brand, which was a joint venture between the American conglomerate 3M and the German dental specialist ESPE.

Historically, the product has strong roots in Seefeld, Germany, where a significant portion of 3M's dental research and production is concentrated. In a major corporate shift in 2024, 3M spun off its healthcare division into an independent, publicly traded company named Solventum. Consequently, while the branding on many packages still displays '3M ESPE', the brand and product line are now owned and managed by Solventum, headquartered in the United States.
