SIGG is a legendary brand known for its high-quality reusable water bottles. Originally founded in Switzerland in 1908 by Ferdinand Sigg and Xaver Küng, the company initially focused on aluminum leisure goods. Over the decades, it became globally recognized for its iconic aluminum bottles, which are even featured in the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
While the brand maintains its Swiss heritage and continues to manufacture its classic aluminum bottles in Switzerland, many of its modern insulated stainless steel lines, such as the Shield Therm One shown here, are manufactured in China to leverage specialized stainless steel production facilities.
In 2016, SIGG was acquired by Haers Vacuum Containers, a leading Chinese manufacturer of vacuum-insulated containers. Under the ownership of Haers, SIGG has expanded its product range significantly, combining Swiss design and engineering with global manufacturing capabilities.
