SPC is an iconic Australian brand with a legacy dating back to its establishment in 1918 in Shepparton, Victoria. Originally known as the Shepparton Preserving Company, it was created to process the high-quality fruit grown in the Goulburn Valley region. The product shown, SPC Prunes, is a staple of their preserved fruit range, typically featuring fruit grown and processed within Australia to support local farmers.
Throughout its history, SPC has undergone several ownership changes. For many years, it was a subsidiary of the Australian beverage and snack giant Coca-Cola Amatil. However, in 2019, Coca-Cola Amatil sold SPC to Shepparton Partners Collective, an Australian-based investment group. This move returned the brand to full Australian ownership and management. Today, SPC Global continues to operate from its historic base in Shepparton, maintaining its status as a premier manufacturer of packaged fruit and vegetable products in the region.
