Salchichón Sendra is a premium cured meat product originating from the town of Vic, located in the Osona region of Catalonia, Spain. The brand was founded in 1849 by the Sendra family, specifically by Ventura Sendra, who established a reputation for high-quality, artisanal production. The product is renowned for its specific recipe that uses only the best cuts of pork (ham and loin), local spices, and a long natural curing process in the region's unique climate.

In recent years, the brand transitioned from family ownership to being part of a larger gourmet production group. Today, Salchichón de Vic Sendra is produced under the stewardship of the Can Sagàs group (associated with the Rovira family and the Els Casals farmhouse). This transition ensured that the traditional 19th-century methods were preserved while expanding the brand's reach in the luxury food market. It remains a benchmark for Spanish charcuterie, strictly adhering to the standards of the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Salchichón de Vic.
