Trops Fresh Fruit

Trops is the leading agricultural cooperative in Spain specializing in the production and marketing of subtropical fruits, primarily avocados and mangoes. Founded in 1979 in Vélez-Málaga (Axarquía region), it was created by a small group of farmers seeking to professionalize the commercialization of their harvests. Today, it represents more than 3,000 associated farmers.

The production is primarily concentrated in the Axarquía region of Málaga and the tropical coast of Granada, although they have expanded production to other areas of the Iberian Peninsula and Portugal to ensure year-round supply. As a cooperative, the ownership remains in the hands of its member producers, maintaining its headquarters and main processing facilities in Málaga, Spain.
