Syoss is a prominent hair care and styling brand that was launched in Osaka, Japan, in 1977. It was originally developed as a professional-use line for hair salons before being expanded to the retail consumer market. In 2008, the brand was acquired by the German consumer goods giant Henkel. Today, Syoss is part of Henkel Consumer Brands.
