The Philips Series 4300 is a premium fully automatic espresso machine noted for its integrated LatteGo milk system, which simplifies the process of creating milk-based coffee beverages. Philips has a long-standing history in the small kitchen appliance sector, particularly after its acquisition of the Italian espresso pioneer Saeco in 2009. This acquisition allowed Philips to integrate high-end Italian engineering with its global manufacturing and distribution scale.
While the Philips brand originated in the Netherlands, the production of their automatic coffee machines is centralized largely in Europe to maintain high quality standards. Most units in the 4300 and 5400 series are manufactured in Romania, at specialized facilities that focus on precision brewing technology. Ownership of the domestic appliances division shifted recently; in 2021, Philips sold its domestic appliance business to the global investment firm Hillhouse Investment. The brand now operates under the corporate name Versuni, though it continues to license the Philips brand name for its products.
