Breyer Traditional Arabian Horse

Breyer Animal Creations, now a division of Reeves International, is the world's leading producer of model horses. The brand was founded in 1950 after the Breyer Molding Company in Chicago created a plastic horse to adorn a mantle clock, which became more popular than the clock itself. This led to the birth of a dedicated line of realistic animal models.

While historically manufactured in the United States, most modern Breyer models are now manufactured in China, though they are designed and prototyped in the USA. The brand remains synonymous with high-quality, hand-painted collectibles that represent various horse breeds and real-life equine legends. The ownership has remained stable under Reeves International since its acquisition in 1984.
