Dolmio Sauce for Bolognese Original

Dolmio is a widely recognized brand of pasta sauces and Italian-style food products. While the brand carries an Italian-sounding name and theme, it actually originated in Australia in the 1980s under the name Alora. It was launched by Master Foods (a subsidiary of Mars) and was later rebranded to Dolmio when it expanded into the European and United Kingdom markets.

Today, Dolmio is a major international brand owned by Mars, Incorporated, an American multinational conglomerate. For the European market, most Dolmio sauces are produced in the Netherlands.
