In 2008, Lyra was acquired by the F.I.L.A. (Fabbrica Italiana Lapis ed Affini) Group, an Italian multinational specialized in art materials and writing products. While the brand retains its German heritage and engineering standards, its manufacturing is distributed globally to serve international markets efficiently. This specific product is manufactured in Malaysia, though the brand remains under the ultimate ownership of the Italian F.I.L.A. Group.
