While Miele produces the majority of its vacuum cleaners and high-end floor care products at its flagship factory in Bielefeld, Germany, certain components and specific entry-level models are also manufactured in Dongguan, China. The brand is currently managed by the fourth generation of the Miele and Zinkann families, maintaining its status as an independent private entity headquartered in Gütersloh, Germany.
