Asus, formally known as ASUSTeK Computer Inc., is a Taiwanese multinational computer and phone hardware and electronics company headquartered in Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan. The logo shown represents the brand's 'A' emblem often found on their Republic of Gamers (ROG) or Zenbook product lines.
Originally founded in 1989 by four former hardware engineers from Acer, the company has grown into one of the world's largest PC vendors. While the brand is strictly Taiwanese in origin and corporate governance, its manufacturing operations are global, with most production facilities located in China and Taiwan to leverage established tech supply chains. Today, Asus is a publicly traded company and remains the ultimate owner of its various sub-brands like ROG and TUF Gaming.
