Arnott's Mint Slice is an iconic chocolate biscuit featuring a crunchy chocolate base topped with a layer of peppermint cream and coated in dark chocolate. The brand Arnott’s is deeply rooted in Australian heritage, having been founded by William Arnott in Newcastle, New South Wales, in 1865.

While the brand is a staple of Australian culture, its ownership has transitioned through several international hands over the decades. After several decades under the ownership of the American company Campbell Soup Company, the brand was acquired by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) in 2019. KKR operates the brand through its portfolio company, The Arnott's Group. Despite the American ownership, the majority of Arnott's products, including Mint Slice, continue to be manufactured at large-scale facilities across Australia, primarily in Sydney, Brisbane, and Adelaide.
