Neutrogena is a globally recognized skincare brand originally founded in the United States in 1930. The brand initially gained prominence for its unique, non-acidic soap discovered by founder Emanuel Stolaroff. Over the decades, it expanded into a comprehensive range of dermatologically tested skincare products.
Historically, Neutrogena was acquired by the American multinational Johnson & Johnson in 1994. However, as of late 2023, Johnson & Johnson completed the spin-off of its consumer health division into a new independent company called Kenvue. Consequently, Neutrogena is now part of Kenvue's portfolio. Although the brand has American roots, production takes place globally to meet regional market needs. This specific product displays 'Johnson & Johnson Santé Beauté France' on the label, indicating it was manufactured in France for the European market.
