Pulco is a well-known French brand specializing in high-quality fruit concentrates, most famously its lemon varieties. Originally created in 1971 by the Ralli company under the name 'Pulco' (a portmanteau related to 'pulp'), it was marketed as a natural alternative to squeezed lemons without added sugar or preservatives.
Over the decades, ownership shifted through several major beverage conglomerates. It was acquired by Marie Brizard, then became part of the Orangina Schweppes group. In 2009, the entire Orangina Schweppes entity was acquired by the Japanese beverage giant Suntory Holdings. Today, Pulco remains a staple in French households and is manufactured primarily in France, maintaining its heritage while operating under the global umbrella of Suntory Beverage & Food Ltd.
