Smash! chocolate corn snacks

Smash! is a unique snack consisting of salted corn cones covered with milk chocolate. It was launched in 1988 by the Norwegian confectionery company Nidar in Trondheim. Since its introduction, it has become one of the most popular snacks in Norway and has gained significant market presence across the Nordic region, particularly in Sweden.

The product is primarily manufactured at the Nidar factory in Trondheim, Norway. Nidar was historically an independent company until it merged with Nora Industrier in 1987, which subsequently became part of Orkla. Today, Smash! is an Orkla brand, managed under their confectionery and snacks division, Orkla Confectionery & Snacks. Orkla is a leading industrial investment company headquartered in Oslo, Norway, specializing in consumer goods for the Nordic and Baltic regions.
