Wenneker Oude Genever

Wenneker Oude Genever is a traditional Dutch spirit with roots dating back to 1693 when Hendrick Wenneker established his first distillery in Schiedam. This location was famously known as the gin capital of the world.

Today, the brand remains a family-owned enterprise, managed by the van der Tuijn family who acquired the distillery in the early 20th century. The production process continues to honor traditional methods, utilizing a specific blend of malt wine and botanicals like juniper berries to create its distinctive wood-aged profile.

Manufacturing takes place in the Netherlands, primarily at their facilities in Roosendaal. The Wenneker Distilleries company maintains its independence as one of the few remaining family-owned legacy distilleries in the region, exporting its range of liqueurs and spirits globally.
