Tiktak Namiddag Thee

Tiktak is a historic Dutch brand established in 1870 in Groningen by Klaas Tiktak. Originally starting as a small grocery store specializing in coffee and tea, it grew into a major national brand known for its consistent quality. In the modern era, the brand significantly pivoted towards sustainability, being one of the first major Dutch coffee roasters to offer Fairtrade and organic certified products.

Today, the brand is owned by the Segafredo Zanetti Group (Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group), an Italian multinational that acquired the Tiktak coffee and tea roasting business in the 1990s. While the ownership is Italian, the production and historical heritage remain deeply rooted in the Netherlands, specifically within the facilities that cater to the Benelux market.
