Napapijri is a premium Italian apparel brand with a name that means 'Arctic Circle' in Finnish. Despite its Norwegian flag logo, the brand was founded in Aosta, Italy, in 1987. It gained global recognition for its innovative outdoor gear and iconic Skidoo anorak.
Today, the brand is owned by the American apparel giant VF Corporation. While the brand maintains its European design heritage, manufacturing is distributed globally across a network of specialized factories in countries such as Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Cambodia, which is typical for large-scale premium apparel brands. Napapijri has recently shifted its focus toward sustainability, introducing the Circular Series of recyclable jackets.
