Founded in 1869 by Márk Pick in Szeged, Hungary, the brand is world-renowned for its winter salami and noble mold-covered cured meats. This specific variant, named after the Hungarian noble family Rákóczi, is beechwood smoked and matured for at least 70 days.
Today, Pick is the flagship brand of the Bonafarm Group, Hungary's largest agricultural and food processing entity. Owned by businessman Sándor Csányi, the company maintains its manufacturing roots in Szeged, adhering to strict traditional recipes and quality standards while exporting globally to markets like Germany and Austria.
