Dime (originally known as Daim) is a world-renowned chocolate bar known for its signature crunchy almond butter toffee center coated in smooth milk chocolate. It was first launched in Sweden and Norway in 1953 by the Swedish company Marabou, inspired by a similar American bar called Heath.
Over the decades, the brand became a staple of Scandinavian confectionery before expanding internationally. Today, while it is sold in many markets under the name 'Daim', it remains iconic for its Swedish heritage. The production primarily takes place at the Marabou factory in Upplands Väsby, Sweden. The brand is currently owned by the multinational food conglomerate Mondelez International, which ensures its distribution across Europe and beyond.
