While the brand remains deeply rooted in Australian culture, its ownership has transitioned to global entities. Since 2008, Golden Circle has been a subsidiary of the H.J. Heinz Company, which subsequently merged to become the Kraft Heinz Company. This transition moved the ultimate ownership to the United States, where Kraft Heinz is headquartered. Despite this international ownership, Golden Circle continues to operate significantly out of its long-standing production facilities in Queensland under the management of Kraft Heinz Australia.
