Lindt Connaisseurs is a premium assortment of Swiss chocolate pralines. The brand's history dates back to 1845 in Zurich, Switzerland, when David Sprüngli-Schwarz and his son Rudolf Sprüngli-Ammann first produced solid chocolate in their small confectionery shop. A major milestone occurred in 1899 when the company acquired Rodolphe Lindt's chocolate factory and his secret for 'melting chocolate' (conching).
Today, Lindt is recognized globally as a leader in the premium chocolate market. While the company has production facilities in various European countries and the USA, the 'Connaisseurs' and 'Pralinés' lines are traditionally manufactured in Switzerland to maintain their status as authentic Swiss chocolate. The brand remains under the management of the parent company Chocoladefabriken Lindt & Sprüngli AG, which is headquartered in Kilchberg, Switzerland, ensuring that the original Swiss heritage and quality standards are preserved for future generations.
