The Symbol MK1100 is an interactive information kiosk designed for retail and commercial environments, allowing customers to check prices or verify product information via its integrated barcode scanner.

Originally developed by Symbol Technologies, a pioneer in mobile data and scanning solutions based in the United States, the brand underwent significant corporate transitions. Symbol Technologies was acquired by Motorola Inc. in 2007, becoming part of Motorola Solutions. Subsequently, in 2014, Zebra Technologies acquired the enterprise division of Motorola Solutions, making Zebra the current ultimate owner of the brand and legacy products. Manufacturing for these enterprise-grade devices was primarily conducted in Mexico and China.
