Monge & C. S.p.A. is Italy's leading manufacturer of pet food, founded in 1963 by Baldassarre Monge. The company's origin is rooted in the family's poultry farm, which led to the innovative idea of using chicken scraps to produce wet food for domestic animals. This move marked the beginning of industrial pet food production in Italy.

Today, the brand remains a family-owned enterprise with its primary production hub located in Monasterolo di Savigliano, Cuneo. It operates one of the most advanced production plants in Europe, handling everything from selection of raw materials to automated canning and packaging. Unlike many other major pet food brands, Monge has maintained its independence and remains under the full control of the founding family.
