Pistonhead is a specialized brand developed under the creative arm of the Swedish brewery Spendrups Bryggeri. Launched in 2011, the brand was designed with a heavy rock-and-roll and custom-car culture aesthetic, specifically targeting the craft beer and cider market globally. While best known for its lagers, the Pistonhead line includes several dry and crisp apple ciders.

The entire production process for Pistonhead products takes place in Sweden, primarily at the Spendrups facilities located in Grängesberg. The brand remains under the ultimate ownership of the Spendrup family, who have maintained independence in the brewing industry for over a century. Spendrups is currently the largest brewery in Sweden and continues to manage Pistonhead as a key export brand reaching markets across Europe and Australia.
