Historically, the brand was part of the Spanish Agrolimen group before being acquired in 2015 by Nutrition & Santé, a leading European dietetics company based in France. Nutrition & Santé is itself a subsidiary of the Japanese pharmaceutical giant Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Today, Bicentury continues to manufacture its products primarily at its specialized production facility in Quart (Girona), Spain, which serves as a key European site for the parent company's health and slimming food divisions.
