Talenti Gelato & Sorbetto

Talenti was founded in 2003 by Josh Hochschuler in Dallas, Texas. Named after Bernardo Buontalenti, the credited inventor of gelato, the brand focused on premium ingredients and its signature clear, recyclable BPA-free jars.

Starting as a local gelateria, the brand quickly transitioned into retail distribution. In 2014, Talenti was acquired by the consumer goods giant Unilever. Today, it remains one of the top-selling premium gelato brands in North America, known for its distinct 'Layers' products and wide range of flavors. While it has international roots in its inspiration and recipe style, the production currently takes place primarily in American facilities to serve the global market under Unilever's expansive distribution network.
