Sensodyne Pronamel / Proschmelz toothpaste

Sensodyne is a world-renowned brand specializing in oral care for sensitive teeth. Its sub-brand, Pronamel (known as Proschmelz in German-speaking markets), was specifically developed to help protect tooth enamel from the effects of acid erosion. The brand was originally created by Block Drug, a US-based company, before being acquired by the British pharmaceutical giant SmithKline Beecham (later GSK).

In 2022, GSK spun off its consumer healthcare division to form a new independent company called Haleon. Haleon now serves as the ultimate owner of the brand. Manufacturing is global, with major production facilities located in the United Kingdom, Slovakia, and the United States to serve various international markets.
