Studentská Pečeť is a legendary chocolate brand originating from former Czechoslovakia, launched in 1975 under the Orion brand. Originally famous for its chocolate bars containing a mix of raisins, peanuts, and jelly, the brand has expanded its portfolio to include various snacks such as wafers and biscuits. The brand is deeply rooted in Czech and Slovak confectionery culture.
The Orion brand, which Studentská Pečeť belongs to, was originally founded in Prague in 1896 by František Maršner. In 1992, after the privatization of the state-owned enterprise Čokoládovny, the brand was acquired by the Swiss multinational Nestlé. Today, manufacturing is primarily focused in the Czech Republic, specifically at the Olomouc Zora factory, ensuring the continuation of its traditional recipes under modern quality standards.
