The brand's name pays homage to Saint Boniface, an 8th-century archbishop who is considered a patron of Bavarian monasteries and was known for his appreciation of local cheese. The production takes place in the Bavarian Alps using high-quality cow's milk from regional farmers. The label in the image is a custom retail label from Marktkauf Nüsken, a supermarket located in Ennigerloh, which operates under the EDEKA group. Bergader remains an independent, family-run business led by the fourth generation of the Kress/Weixler family.
