In 2006, the brand was acquired by Tata Consumer Products (formerly Tata Global Beverages), which integrated it into its international portfolio alongside other famous tea brands. However, in 2020, Tata Consumer Products sold its Czech and Polish tea businesses. Today, Jemča is owned by Dr. Müller Pharma, a Czech-based pharmaceutical company. This acquisition returned the brand to Czech ownership, with production continuing to focus on high-quality herbal blends at its local manufacturing facilities in the Czech Republic.
