Sudocrem Multi-Expert

Sudocrem is a globally recognized antiseptic healing cream originally developed in Dublin, Ireland, in 1931. Invented by pharmacist Thomas Smith, it was initially named 'Smith's Cream' before being rebranded as Sudocrem. The product is primarily known as a treatment for nappy rash, eczema, and pressure sores, though the 'Multi-Expert' variant is classified as a medical device for broader skin protection and healing.

The brand has seen several transitions in ownership over the decades. Originally a Forest Laboratories product, it became part of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries following Teva's acquisition of Actavis (which had previously acquired Forest Laboratories). As of 2026, Teva remains the ultimate owner.
