However, in 2023, it was announced that beer production under the Pernštejn brand would be transferred within the Molson Coors network to the Ostravar brewery in Ostrava, leading to the closure of the original Pardubice production site.

Today, the brand is owned by Molson Coors Beverage Company, a multinational brewing giant headquartered in the United States and Canada. Despite the organizational changes and the shift in manufacturing location within the Czech Republic, the brand continues to market its products based on its historical Pardubice heritage.
