Hollandia is a prominent dairy brand that originated in the Czech Republic in 1991. Despite its name, which evokes Dutch dairy traditions, the brand was founded by Michal Škoda and is deeply rooted in Czech agricultural practices. The brand gained fame for its 'Selský' (Farmer's) yogurt, characterized by maturing inside the cup rather than in large tanks, which gives the product its unique thick consistency and traditional flavor profile.

Ownership and Manufacturing

Since its founding, Hollandia Karlovy Vary has remained a major player in the Central European dairy market. In 2015, the company was acquired by the Czechoslovak Group (CSG), a major industrial holding. However, the brand is currently under the umbrella of the Hopi Holding group, specifically through HOPI Hungry Hub. The production facilities are primarily located in the village of Krásné Údolí near Karlovy Vary, maintaining a strong connection to its regional Czech origins while distributing products across Slovakia, Hungary, and other neighboring regions.
