WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) is a legendary German brand founded in 1853 in Geislingen an der Steige. Renowned for its high-quality stainless steel called 'Cromargan', the brand became a staple of European dining culture.

While its roots and design heartbeat remain firmly in Germany, manufacturing is now distributed globally. High-end collections are often still produced in Germany, while other lines are manufactured in China and various European locations to meet global demand.

Since 2016, WMF has been part of the French Groupe SEB, a global leader in small domestic equipment. This acquisition integrated the historic German brand into a vast international portfolio, ensuring its presence in households and professional kitchens worldwide well into the future.
