Historically, the brand was a joint venture between the Turkish group Danone Hayat and the French multinational Danone. For many years, Danone held a majority stake, integrating Hayat into its global beverage portfolio. However, in recent strategic shifts, ownership has transitioned, with Danone divesting its water businesses in certain regions. Currently, the brand is managed under the Danone Hayat joint venture infrastructure with local distribution partnerships. It remains one of the best-known water brands in Turkey and is widely exported to European markets like Germany.
