Donettes is one of Spain's most iconic sweet snack brands, famous for its small, cocoa-coated mini doughnuts. The brand was originally created by the Spanish company Panrico (Panificio Rivera Costafreda) in the 1970s, which revolutionized the local snack market with this format.

For decades, the brand remained under Spanish ownership until the acquisition of Panrico by the Mexican multinational Bimbo Group (Grupo Bimbo) in 2016. Today, Donettes is managed by Bimbo Iberia, a subsidiary of the global food giant. Most production occurs in Spain to serve the Iberian market, though the ultimate ownership lies with the Mexican parent company, which is the largest bakery company in the world.
