The McCormick Farmall Super FC is a classic row-crop tractor produced by International Harvester. The 'Farmall' brand was established as a model line of tractors produced by International Harvester (IH) from 1923 until 1985. The 'FC' specifically refers to models produced at the CIMA (Compagnie Internationale des Machines Agricoles) plant in Saint-Dizier, France, which began production in the early 1950s to serve the European market.
International Harvester was an American agricultural company formed by the 1902 merger of the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company and the Deering Harvester Company. In the mid-1980s, due to financial distress, IH sold its agricultural division to Tenneco, which merged it with its subsidiary J.I. Case to form Case IH. Today, the Case IH brand, and the legacy of Farmall, is owned by CNH Industrial N.V., a global leader in the capital goods sector controlled by Exor.
