Milka is one of the world's most recognizable chocolate brands, originally founded in Switzerland in 1901 by Philippe Suchard. Known for its lilac-colored packaging and the 'Milka Cow' symbol, the brand was initially part of the Suchard company, which later merged with Tobler to become Interfood and then Jacobs Suchard.
Today, Milka is owned by Mondelez International, a major American multinational confectionery and snack food company based in Chicago. While the brand has Swiss heritage and is synonymous with 'Alpine Milk' chocolate, its products are manufactured across several European locations, including plants in Germany, Austria, and Poland, to serve the global market.
