Laxoberal Laxative Drops

Laxoberal is a well-known pharmaceutical brand specializing in the treatment of constipation. Originally developed in Germany, the brand was a long-standing product of the German pharmaceutical giant Boehringer Ingelheim.

In 2017, as part of a significant strategic asset swap, Boehringer Ingelheim traded its consumer healthcare business, which included Laxoberal, to Sanofi in exchange for Sanofi's animal health business (Merial). Today, Laxoberal is owned and distributed globally by Sanofi, a French multinational pharmaceutical company. While the brand is managed from France, production for the European market remains centered in Germany to maintain high pharmaceutical standards.
