Vilarnau is a renowned Spanish Cava producer located in the Penedès region, near Barcelona. The brand is famous for its distinctive packaging, which features a mosaic design inspired by Antoni Gaudí’s "trencadís" style, a hallmark of Catalan Modernism. This specific bottle is the Brut Reserva, a premium sparkling wine made using the traditional method and aged for at least 15 months.

The history of Vilarnau dates back to 1949 when the first Cava under the Vilarnau name was sold, though the estate's lineage as a winery stretches back much further. Since 1982, the brand has been part of the González Byass family of wines, one of Spain's most prestigious and historic wine companies. The production is centralized at their state-of-the-art, sustainable winery in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, ensuring that all aspects of manufacturing remain rooted in the heart of Spain's Cava country.
