Trois Rivières is a premium Rhum Agricole brand with a heritage dating back to the 17th century in Sainte-Luce, Martinique. Unlike traditional rum made from molasses, this product is crafted from pure sugarcane juice, adhering to the strict Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) regulations of Martinique. The 'Ambré' variety is matured in oak tuns, giving it its characteristic golden hue and honeyed notes.
Historically, the plantation was founded in 1660 by Nicolas de Fermes, the Superintendent of King Louis XIV. Over centuries, it transitioned through various owners until joining the portfolio of the French group BBS (Bellonnie & Bourdillon Successeurs). In 2019, the Italian beverage giant Campari Group acquired the brand and its production facilities, integrating it into their global distribution network. Production remains strictly localized in Martinique to preserve its AOC status.
