In 2014, the brand underwent a significant ownership change when the Strauss Group, an international food and beverage company, acquired the Amigo brand for the Romanian market from Panfoods. This acquisition allowed Strauss to consolidate its leadership in the local coffee sector, integrating Amigo into its diverse portfolio of beverages. Today, the brand remains an iconic name in Eastern Europe, combining decades of tradition with the global expertise of its Israeli-based owner.
