Havana Club Original Añejo 3 Años

Havana Club is an iconic brand deeply rooted in Cuban heritage, known for its authentic production process. This specific expression, the Añejo 3 Años, is distilled and aged in Cuba under the strict Denominación de Origen Protegida (DOP) regulations, ensuring its quality and geographical authenticity. It is widely considered one of the benchmark spirits for creating classic Cuban cocktails like the Mojito and Daiquiri.

The brand was originally founded in 1934 by José Arechabala S.A. in Cárdenas, Cuba. However, following the Cuban Revolution, the company was nationalized. Since 1993, the brand has been managed through a 50/50 joint venture between the Cuban government (Corporación Cuba Ron) and the French beverage giant Pernod Ricard. While the brand is available globally, complex legal disputes with Bacardi mean that a different version of Havana Club exists in the United States, but the original Cuban-made product shown here is the one distributed globally by Pernod Ricard.
