Sensodyne Sensitivity & Gum Toothbrush

Sensodyne Sensitivity & Gum is a specialized manual toothbrush designed for users with sensitive teeth and gum concerns. The brand Sensodyne was originally introduced in 1961 by Block Drug, a US-based company, as a desensitizing toothpaste. Over time, the brand expanded into a full range of oral hygiene products including mouthwashes and toothbrushes.

Following the acquisition of Block Drug by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in 2001, the brand grew into a global leader in the sensitivity category. In 2022, GSK spun off its consumer healthcare division into a new, independent company called Haleon. Today, Sensodyne is owned and managed by Haleon, which is headquartered in the United Kingdom. While the brand has British-American roots, its manufacturing is distributed across multiple global locations to serve international markets.
