SIGG is a premium Swiss brand with a long-standing history dating back to 1908. Known worldwide for its iconic aluminum water bottles, the brand has become a symbol of sustainability and high-quality Swiss craftsmanship. While the classic aluminum bottles are traditionally manufactured at their main facility in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, other product lines such as stainless steel, glass, and plastic containers may be produced in different global locations depending on the technical requirements of the material.

In 2016, the brand underwent a significant ownership change when it was acquired by the Chinese company Haers Vacuum Containers. Despite this acquisition, SIGG maintains its headquarters and design operations in Switzerland, continuing to promote the 'Swissness' of its core aluminum products while leveraging the manufacturing and distribution strengths of its global parent company.
