De Tuinen Aloë Vera Bodymilk is a natural skincare product originally developed by the Dutch health store chain 'De Tuinen', which was founded in 1981 in Den Haag. The brand is known for its focus on natural ingredients and traditional apothecary-style remedies.
In 2003, the chain was acquired by the British company Holland & Barrett. In 2015, the store names in the Netherlands were officially rebranded from De Tuinen to Holland & Barrett, though the 'De Tuinen' brand name has been preserved as a proprietary private label for many of their natural care products. Today, the brand is ultimately owned by LetterOne, an international investment business that acquired Holland & Barrett in 2017. The products are primarily manufactured in the Netherlands to serve the Benelux market.
